Rosmed supports independence and choice with a range of accommodation options and can assist you, or someone you care for, in understanding accommodation in the ndis and finding the right accommodation with the right level of service and support.
Rosmed provides many supported independent living options for people with disability across victoria (metro, regional , interstate) and currently has vacancies.
Our accommodation options include a mix of community units, villas, group homes, transitional accommodation and individual accommodation in self-contained flats. Most of our accommodation is located in suburban streets close to public transport, shops and community facilities. Our houses meet accessibility requirements and are fitted with assistive technologies and equipment.
Within our supported accommodation service, rosmed provides you with full-time care and support. Whether you need support around the clock or for just for a few hours a day, rosmed can work with you to design a support program that suits your needs.
Who can access rosmed's supported accommodation?
People with disability between the ages of 18 and 65 can access our supported accommodation services. Places within accommodation options are subject to availability. We always consider the compatibility of residents in rosmed’s accommodation options. When you let us know that you’re looking for a new home, we will consider your age, gender, health needs, interests and personal requests, to ensure you and your fellow housemates are well-suited and likely to enjoy each other’s company.

Our homes are purpose-built, fully accessible and fitted with appropriate assistive technologies and supported by highly trained and qualified staff.
Guests can stay for a day, overnight, a weekend or a few weeks. Stays can be for a planned rest or for an emergency visit; they may be regular or occasional.
Medium term accommodation is support items which recognises that there may be cases where you will require longer term transitional accommodation before moving into a more permanent home or arrangement (for example, after hospital discharge). Typically, mta would be used for periods up to 90 days. Those who wish to stay in mta are responsible for meeting their own food and everyday living costs from their own income rather than ndis plan.
Supported independent living (sil) provide support for your daily tasks we offer supported independent living to our participants. It helps participants to have more choice and control.
We will help you find out if your accommodation falls under the sil category. It includes help or supervision with daily tasks, like personal care or cooking meals. It helps you live as independently as possible, while building your skills. We do have sil accommodation with overnight assistance in vic,qld and in nt
